Well is it vital that you need a tablet pc? I want one but I won't be bothering to get one till I really need one, and when I have the money, it would probably be easier if you just saved a bit from the money you get paid and keep it somewhere safe and just buy it when you've saved by enough, you shouldn't spend all your money cos what if you needed money for something else, you'd have a tablet pc and nothing else for a while :P. But I dunno I've never been one to have much money.

Sorry to hear it man, I could support you with both sympathy and empathy as I know how you feel, but..... that's life for you.

Well anyway Roodis, with Crapmas coming up there will be more hours, sell your current laptop for like £500 to your parents, or strike some kind of deal with them or somebody. Sorted.

Correction Wester: that's capitalism for you, not life.

Well yeah that's also true Paul, Capitalism is indeed involved, but it is all part of life then again.

Capitalism is part of life? Pfft not for 99% of the people through-out human history.

When you think about it deeply, EVERYTHING IS part of life, Paul.

So capitalism effects the lives of some goldfish somewhere? Get out of your minority view.

Noooo, of course not, but Capitalism is a rather smaller portion of life, definitely not a part of the major scale of things.

WHAT the HELL are you on? Crack? I'm not spamming ANYTHING for Christ's sake - I'm just giving my input. Is that really such an issue considering that there's far worse spammers out there that you have MORE respect for and won't admit is TRULY 'spamming' ? Of course, that's the way things have heated up between us since bloody DAY ONE, and everyone else thanks to..... oh I won't go on!

God you're revolting.

I'm not here to talk about my oppinion of capitalism, instead I will tell you of my experience using a tablet pc (in short).

Let me forewarn you, as I speak as a member of the pen club (I'm an Inkling)... If you buy a tablet pc you will experience computing at its finest. You will be inseperable from your tablet. You will never again buy a notebook that doesn't offer pen enabled computing. Sorry to tempt you a little but I'm sure you tempt yourself enough as it is. :)

I own the Fujitsu Lifebook T4010D and couldn't be happier.

Good luck and I hope you do choose to dive into the tablet pc experience as I have. Feel free to stop by my blog from time to time to see the latest news regarding tablet computers (and other great stuff). Just find the web log titled "Inklings and Impressions".

I feel the same way, just the very idea of having a portable machine that doesn't have ink support, and doesn't let me use it in slate mode just seems absolutely pointless to me now.

Here's the URL I think to sgim's blog http://inkling-impression.blogspot.com/
