Bestest um Media teacher in the world :P

Ok well here's number two in the trilogy :P this is about my media teacher, good ol' Mr. Morris, I only started having him as a teacher from year 12 as I never took media before and that's pretty much all he teaches.

So I've only known the guy two years really, but it was pretty cool, yeah he gets boring at times, but he can also be funny...at times, with his lines, like fingers in the pies and whatnot, media people would understand ^_^.

Anyway from never doing media before I'll be getting an A this year (well as long as I get 33 marks in the last exam, shouldn't be too hard :P) so all round he's a pretty cool teacher, if you pay attention in the lessons, but it does get rather hard at times :P.

With the constant watching of the first 10 minutes of "The Enforcer" or the constant bringing James Bond into a conversation he won't be missed. Also the uhh excuse me :P, and you have a knowing look on your face ^_^.

Best out of two pics

He looks a tad surprised :P.

You shall be missed, and I'm sure everyone in media can now be just as cool as you were with their little cue cards in their top pockets for looking at when at work and such :P

Bestest art teacher in the world ^_^

Well I thought I'd do a few posts since I've now finished school, and I think I'll do three which are related to teachers (including this one).

This here post is dedicated to the coolness of my art teacher Mr.Wadwell, from having years of crap art teachers who sit there and make you do nothing, for once I've been made to do art for the past two years. I had always liked art but pretty much sucked.

And as he puts it he taught me how to draw, now I could draw before, just not so well, I've learnt a lot from him and am happy I had such a good teacher for these past two years.

He was also a pretty cool teacher as he had an okish taste in films, great taste in music and was alround a fun person to be around, shame he was so sarcastic sometimes, it could get old when you've heard the same thing about 5 times :P.

But enough of that, I'm so happy that my art has developed so well, as otherwise I probably wouldn't have decided to go to uni, and he's the reason I decided to go with art.

Thanks Wadders.

If there's any teacher I'm gonna miss the most it'll probably be him, altho it's gonna be hard to forget Mr.McLeod or of course Mr.Morris, pictures and a bit of writing about these two teachers coming soon when I have a photo ^_^

For those that haven't seen him, here he is in all his glory :P

wadwell

Apparently he had 19 piercings...or maybe it was 15, whatever it was I've never had a teacher like that in my life ^_^ since they're usually all so serious.

Heavy Rain is forecast

Ok so I've posted this up on the forums and the omikron site so I thought I should post it up on my blog. Especially since I haven't posted about any specific games in a while, so here goes.

Ok so this was shown at E3, I had never heard of it before, probably as it was being kept quiet by Quantic Dream.

As always they're using their own motion capture studio and what not, and have put together this demo for their newest game Heavy Rain. I'll now add some information on the game, that was posted up on Boom Town just to get you interested.

This is the official video of the real-time PS3 demo presented by Quantic Dreams (creators of Omikron and Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit) for Heavy Rain, a new video game franchise, designed for next generation consoles and PC systems, based on emotional immersion and innovative game play mechanics.

Called "The Casting", this video demo features a young actress attending to the casting of the game to get a role. It features a virtual actor expressing emotions and crying in real time 3D. "The Casting" features many Next Gen features including full body and facial motion capture (eyes, pupils, fingers and tongue animation), real time tears, real time wrinkles on the face, advanced skin shades and advanced rendering features (Depth of Field, Spherical Harmonics, and High Dynamic Range).

In my mind that just shouts "pretty".

So you can download the demo from here

And I have to tell you the trailer demo is a hefty 132mb so may take a while to download, but I'll pop up a picture as an incentive

Click on the image to see a bigger version, it's lovely looking :D

Your thoughts everyone? I myself can't wait, I'm sure Quantic Dream won't fail to amaze.

The bits I like about it are:

great motion capture
person they chose
the music
the little dv tape getting ready noise
the video in general

All I can say is they better talk about this on gamercast :p um or else ^_^.

Ze prom

Ok well it was the prom last nice and it was already pretty cool, I refused to dance, mainly as dancing isn't my kinda thing, even though I had a bunch of people telling me to. I was fine sitting down most of the time :P plus my feet were killing me which wasn't that nice.

Everyone had nice dresses, and I feel mine wasn't quite as good as a lot of people's there, altho it was better than some I feel. But heck I don't see a point in spending loads on a dress :P IMO borrowing my sister's dress it good enough for me. Plus she hadn't worn it yet so I was the first to wear it ^^.

The food was ok, but not as good as I expected, and the music was a bit poo, I would have chose something better, and the silly bar man didn't know what a snowball was and didn't have the stuff needed, how rude :P. I didn't drink too much tho as I didn't want to waste my money, unlike everyone else who was guzzling it down.

Getting there was really fun though, specially since we didn't have a boring limo, shame it took really long to get there though :(.

Only real crappy thnig about the prom is that one of my curls flopped and the other stayed curly :( which made me look a bit silly, but other than that it was fine.

If you wanna check out the pictures we took go to my site

Promness

So my sister Emma is helping us with the prom and stuff, and we're having a hard time deciding what to do with my hair, mainly since she thinks I should have it down, but I prefer having it up ^^ and there's lots you can do with it, Emma reckons straightened with a curly bit somewhere, can't remember and I just want up nicely somehow :P So Emma got bored and gave me a french plat, which looks nice, but as we all agree on looks rather childish for something like the prom.

frenchy

This prom stuff is like the most I've ever had to bother with what I'm wearing, as it's usually just choose a pair of trousers and a top and thats it but, gawd it's like everything has to match and look all formal and stuff, how annoying. I can't wait to wonder what will end up happening with my hair ^^, Emma is good with hair stuff cos she was a hairdresser, and she's good with the whole dressing up stuff :P me am lucky I have a nice sister =).

Charlotte said I look like Lara Croft from behind :P.

Pictures, pictures everywhere

Ok well as everyone should know Paul is the nicest dudeman in the world, and he has redesigned the gallery on my website which now looks a lot smarter and fits in with the layout of my site more. He has also added (which you may notice) a random image code on my blog and the homepage of my website, meaning that a random image from the gallery on my site will appear, and then of course if you want to look at it you can click on it and it'll take you there.

It's very much like the one on Chapstick's blog but of course the pictures on mine are better (j/k)

Anywho I would like to thank you Paul for spending a good few hours doing this, as I know how busy you are ;) thanks also for making me a nice new skin for my blog, makes everything match :)

Where would I be without you ^_^.
