The Land of homework part 2
Well it's time to show everyone what I've been up to for the past week or so since my last arty entry. Now I haven't finished, most of this is unfinished, but I'm darn proud of what I've done so far ![]()
Ok so first up is a simple page of reference images for my work, these are important as some of these feature in my final composition, and they help prove that I haven't just made up a bunch of images ^^.

Ok next is the naked lady picture I had in my last entry, but I finally got round to painting it, which I think ended up looking a lot better than I expected. I'll probably have to annotate the page so that it doesn't look so empty.

This is my second page of reference images, same as before, cept I put in more images and arranged it differently.

Now it comes to my artist work which took me all of yesterday to put together ^^, the first page consists of Degas, Klmit and my favourite Schiele, the page looks very cool in person.

Next is the second page of artists, including Jenny Saville, Rodin and Cindy Sherman, just like the one above.

Last of the artists is Monet, Cezanne, Claesz and Steenwyck, this is the last of the artists, we had to research ten artists, like last year
.

These are my compositional boxes which are used for choosing my mock and final piece for the exam (next week O_o). They're slightly hard to see as I need to finish them by adding colour to all of them.

My second page of compositional boxes, these also need colour to finish them, along with notes to justify why I drew them.

Next up is the second part to a homework, and are at the moment sketches of images I have to colour and experiment with, as these are pictures that may be in my final piece. Very unfinished at the moment, but gives me an idea of what I have to do.

Pretty much the same as the other picture in terms of what it is. Needs a lot of work ^^.

The next two are pretty bland, they're for my indepth study on Egon Schiele, who is like so cool ^^, And the page will have a bio on him and a load of colour pictures
.

Then there is a crappy little sketch of my mock composition, which I need to finish sketching and colour, and then I need to do another 2 variations of it, one being what my final piece will look like.

And then finally my mock, now improved, and experimented with, on how I can save time in my exam, instead of doing every single image inside the picture. I have a feeling my exam will go fine
I just hope I can do it all in 12 hours ![]()

I've now got 6 days until the art exam starts, I hope to finish my exam prep before then so I can put everything into the exam, and also do my other art coursework on the side
.
Yay new monitor :)
Well after a long time I have finally bought myself a tft! I've been borrowing my older sister's one, but I needed one which I can take with me to uni. So I did something bold and bought a pretty one
I got myself a Dell 17" 1707FP in black, which was £167 including shipping, which was reduced from £237 cos they had money off. Which made me wanna get one
Plus I felt it would be a better thing to get a normally expensive monitor, instead of get a cheap one. And since I knew Paul liked his huge dell monitor, I thought it wouldn't be bad. And since I've been saving up for a while now for stuff for uni, I thought I'd get one of the things I've been saving up for.
What also helped me decide to buy it, is that it has two usb ports on the side, which is mega handy, as my usb ports at the front of my computer (consisting of two) are being using by my phone's usb lead and my webcam, and whenever I wanted to plus something in I had to take it out. Well now I've moved my phone lead to my monitor so I have a free port down the bottom so now I don't have to move a thing ![]()
Anywho I shall include a nice high res pic of my monitor in it's glory, it already looks at home on my desk
Overall I'm very pleased with it, it's much nicer than the other one, and no dead pixels ![]()
