Last day of the examness!!!
Well it's finally done, art exam finished, with the exception of my prep work for it, which shall be finished today and tomorrow and given in monday, all finished and amazing looking
I should get a good grade on this work cos I've put soooo much effort into it. And then it's just finishing the contextual study and creative problem, yay
And of course learning the criminal law stuff and making sure I get at least 35 marks on my media exam so that I get an A, woopie
.
Anyway for those who wish to see my picture.

I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be, but it's not that bad looking. At least I finished in time ![]()
2nd day of the exam
Well today was day number two, only tomorrow left now. And I shall show ya all what I've done in the 4 hours today that we got, I'm pretty pleased with it at the moment, and so does art dude as well, I'm pretty sure I'll get it finished which is very good. I've now got to put any final details on the women, and finish the blue parts of it, which is pretty much where there is gaps.

1st day of the exam
Well the first day of the exam is over, and the only thing I can think is that I'm gonna end up finishing early
I did a lot more than I expected on the first day. As I only have two figures left, a few improvements on the ones there, and bits of blue to put in. It's going pretty good overall I think, even if it is a little odd looking at the moment.
One thing is though I'm pretty sure the mdf wasn't sanded down before I used it, which I should have done, but didn't want to do during the exam. But so far I've had no problems which is good.
So have a look and tell me what ya think

The Land of homework part 2
Well it's time to show everyone what I've been up to for the past week or so since my last arty entry. Now I haven't finished, most of this is unfinished, but I'm darn proud of what I've done so far ![]()
Ok so first up is a simple page of reference images for my work, these are important as some of these feature in my final composition, and they help prove that I haven't just made up a bunch of images ^^.

Ok next is the naked lady picture I had in my last entry, but I finally got round to painting it, which I think ended up looking a lot better than I expected. I'll probably have to annotate the page so that it doesn't look so empty.

This is my second page of reference images, same as before, cept I put in more images and arranged it differently.

Now it comes to my artist work which took me all of yesterday to put together ^^, the first page consists of Degas, Klmit and my favourite Schiele, the page looks very cool in person.

Next is the second page of artists, including Jenny Saville, Rodin and Cindy Sherman, just like the one above.

Last of the artists is Monet, Cezanne, Claesz and Steenwyck, this is the last of the artists, we had to research ten artists, like last year
.

These are my compositional boxes which are used for choosing my mock and final piece for the exam (next week O_o). They're slightly hard to see as I need to finish them by adding colour to all of them.

My second page of compositional boxes, these also need colour to finish them, along with notes to justify why I drew them.

Next up is the second part to a homework, and are at the moment sketches of images I have to colour and experiment with, as these are pictures that may be in my final piece. Very unfinished at the moment, but gives me an idea of what I have to do.

Pretty much the same as the other picture in terms of what it is. Needs a lot of work ^^.

The next two are pretty bland, they're for my indepth study on Egon Schiele, who is like so cool ^^, And the page will have a bio on him and a load of colour pictures
.

Then there is a crappy little sketch of my mock composition, which I need to finish sketching and colour, and then I need to do another 2 variations of it, one being what my final piece will look like.

And then finally my mock, now improved, and experimented with, on how I can save time in my exam, instead of doing every single image inside the picture. I have a feeling my exam will go fine
I just hope I can do it all in 12 hours ![]()

I've now got 6 days until the art exam starts, I hope to finish my exam prep before then so I can put everything into the exam, and also do my other art coursework on the side
.
Yay new monitor :)
Well after a long time I have finally bought myself a tft! I've been borrowing my older sister's one, but I needed one which I can take with me to uni. So I did something bold and bought a pretty one
I got myself a Dell 17" 1707FP in black, which was £167 including shipping, which was reduced from £237 cos they had money off. Which made me wanna get one
Plus I felt it would be a better thing to get a normally expensive monitor, instead of get a cheap one. And since I knew Paul liked his huge dell monitor, I thought it wouldn't be bad. And since I've been saving up for a while now for stuff for uni, I thought I'd get one of the things I've been saving up for.
What also helped me decide to buy it, is that it has two usb ports on the side, which is mega handy, as my usb ports at the front of my computer (consisting of two) are being using by my phone's usb lead and my webcam, and whenever I wanted to plus something in I had to take it out. Well now I've moved my phone lead to my monitor so I have a free port down the bottom so now I don't have to move a thing ![]()
Anywho I shall include a nice high res pic of my monitor in it's glory, it already looks at home on my desk
Overall I'm very pleased with it, it's much nicer than the other one, and no dead pixels ![]()
The land of homework
Being swamped with work is horrible, although it's my fault so I can't moan ^^ instead of it being easy work though, it's art, which can be hard. There are three pieces of coursework this term (like last) two of them being work done at home and such, and the third being an exam with a journal that goes with it. Well I must say I'm a tad behind with all of them. Although I may be ahead of some people, I feel I'm behind myself and I should have done more by now. I said to myself last year as I've decided I want to go to uni I'll put my everything into art this year...and what have I done, be lazy
and I can't help it. I really want to work but I hardly feel like it. But I'm procrastinating...like always ^^ soooo I'll post some pics of my work up, finished and unfinished.
First up is my coursework, I've posted up a pic but it wasn't as recent as this. This is a corner of my first piece of coursework. I really need to finish this corner, as once it's finished I can go onto my second piece of coursework, which I really needa do. But art dude man has it all sorted, as from the reflection he's decided what I'm doing for my last piece
woo, I hope I'm not gonna find it too hard.

Next is a foot I drew at life drawing omg it looks cool
I drew this in task 2 of my exam work, I drew it at life drawing and am amazed at how well it turned out for a little sketch, feet are so hard to do. Although Kirsty (year 12 I know and sit next to at life drawing) is amazing at drawing feet, omg she should draw feet for a living!

Next is my mock for my exam, it's not had much done to it yet, it's a sketch on mdf at the moment mainly, all of women, and heck there's even a charlotte in there drawing on her sketchbook. I hope to get as much of this done as possible, but I don't think it'll get finished. Although once the exam stuff is over and I can take all my work I may finish it over the summer holidays
.

Here is the first finished piece of work :o stand in awe...well it's not that great, but art dude liked it, said I've really improved, so I'm happy with that
It's an assortment of glasses I found in the house, and the rose vase in the back is so gonna be mine
I claim it cos it's like the most beautiful vase in the world ever, the swedes are so good at making glass stuff!

This is then the second part of the work above, but is unfinished, all I need to do is colour the naked lady in the middle and it's done, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to colour it, which is crappy, otherwise I would have finished it weeks ago.

Now this is artists that go with the above homeworks, I like how I've presented it, even if it is just pictures
.

Same as above except I like the one a load more cos it's got Egon Schiele pics on it and he's amazing at drawing!

Well that is my kinda art updateness, I will do more interesting blog entries on stuff people care about, but not at this moment in time ^^.
Necrophilia in Oblivion :o
Well I have to say this made myself and Charlotte chuckle hearing this dark elf ask me the question below. I thought the conversations on mudcrabs was a little off, but the owner of an alchemist shop
