Your mom goes to E3. Oh wait, so do I!
Last June I was blessed with the trip of a life time. That's right, I went down to little ol' LA and partook(is that a word?) in the most beautifull event known to the gaming community! E3!, E3,e3,e3e3e3e... Basically my best friends dad works for EA games, and he got me and friend of mine named Ashley into the "industry only" zone. It was basically all my wildest dreams comming true. I've wanted to go since I first heard about E3 but never really thought I could go, or if I did not at my current age.
Anyway E3 was amaizing. The show rooms were lit up and loud but thats part of the atmospher. Every major company had a kick ass booth, but I must say EA's was the best because of the presentations they had. Most of the booths were fun, and there were a lot of hand outs. I learned about a new protective/decorative skin company called Gelaskin .
Its pretty BA, the dude gave me a cool skin that belongs to a iPod but I used it on my Zune and it works fine. I got to play around in the Alianware section as well as Fatal1ty's booth. Ashley and I got to meet Olivia Munn.
Got plenty of kick ass swag and posters, some shirts and some flyers. It was awesome, the only bad thing about it was the walking distances. We must have put on like 20 miles a day. But I'm not trying to complain, I'm totaly stoked I got to go and I entirley greatful to Dave(My buddys dad) for what he did.
Outside of E3 LA was pretty interesting, I got to eat Thai and Indian food for the first time, actually got to take a tour of EA LA which was freakin AMAIZING! And have some of the best frozen yogert i've ever eaten. It's one of my most favorite memories, and I thank the Rowlands for everything they have done for me. Without them I couldnt have gone on the trip and experience the sheer pants soiling trauma that comes with being at E3.
